Celebration of 80th Independence Day of India at Embassy!

A moment of immense pride and patriotism! The Embassy of India in Budapest hosted a grand celebration to mark India's 80th Independence Day, made truly special by the enthusiastic participation of the Indian diaspora and our wonderful Hungarian friends.The festivities commenced with a soulful and magnificent rendition of our national song, Vande Mataram, beautifully performed by a talented group of Hungarian friends of India, community members, and artists from the Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre.Witnessing the unfurling of the Tiranga while singing the National Anthem filled every heart with deep patriotic fervor. During the ceremony, the Ambassador proudly read out the inspiring address by the Hon'ble President of India @rashtrapatibhvn to the gathering. We also had the privilege of honoring the brilliant winners and participants of our pre-Independence Day artistic and creative competitions. It was a joy to display their incredible artwork for all to see! Your inspiring energy and strong support mean the world to us. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this milestone a resounding success. Happy 80th Independence Day! Jai Hind!
