In his speech, the Ambassador praised the close and trust-based Indian-Hungarian relations, highlighting the sincere intellectual openness of the Hungarian people towards yoga, Ayurveda and Indian culture. He highlighted the role of the Krishna Valley for over thirty years in sharing India’s spiritual heritage and environmentally conscious values, where ancient wisdom and modern ecological responsibility go hand in hand. This value system perfectly reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mission LiFE initiative and the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (“One Earth, One Family, One Future”).
At the event, the Ambassador also presented a special certificate of appreciation to Mr. Radha Krishna Das, GBC Secretary for Hungary, Romania, Turkey and Cyprus, for his participation in the International Gita Mahotsav event held in Kurukshetra, Haryana.
