As UNESCO recognizes Deepavali as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the Embassy of India, Budapest was proud to join millions worldwide in marking this momentous occasion. ​Deepavali- the Festival of Lights is no longer just an Indian festival; it is now officially a shared global treasure—a testament to the universal values of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. ​To celebrate, the Embassy premises were illuminated in vibrant lights, mirroring the joy of the occasion.
