Celebrating Ayurveda Day 2026 in Budapest. 
The Embassy of India, Budapest celebrated Ayurveda Day 2026 at the Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre on the theme “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow.”  In his opening remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the timeless relevance of Ayurveda and the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to take India’s traditional knowledge and wellness systems to the global community. He noted the growing appreciation and acceptance of Ayurveda internationally and its emerging relevance in Hungary, particularly as a holistic approach to health and well-being.

The programme featured insightful presentations by Krishna Valley, Vedaset and Amrita Events, exploring Ayurveda, healthy living, its relevance in everyday life and initiatives to further promote Ayurveda in Hungary and beyond. A video of Prime Minister's speech emphasizing the need for scientific research was also played. The celebration was further enriched by mesmerizing performances of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, offering a vibrant glimpse into India’s rich classical cultural heritage. The event reflects the Embassy’s continued endeavour to deepen awareness and appreciation of Ayurveda in Hungary and to strengthen people-to-people connections through India’s rich traditions of knowledge, wellness and culture.
