  The Embassy of India in Budapest celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India at the Embassy premises on 26 January 2026 with grace and enthusiasm. The National Flag was unfurled by Ambassador Shri Anshuman Gaur, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Ambassador read excerpts of the Address to the Nation delivered by the Hon’ble President of India before the gathering comprising members of Indian diaspora as well as distinguished friends of India. He also extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the Indian community, underscoring the historical importance and constitutional significance of Republic Day and India’s enduring values of democracy, unity, and sovereignty. - January 27, 2026
