Az Amrita Sher-Gil Kulturális Központ tisztelettel meghívja Önt és családját a Díválí ünnepségre, amely 2025. október 18-án 17.00 órától kerül megrendezésre az Amrita Sher-Gil Kulturális Központban, az Indiai Nagykövetségen. A programban a Gauravání Tánccsoport Rámájana táncdrámáját láthatjuk, amit hennafestés, szári-próba, ételstand követ.

Az előadókról:

A Gauravani Tánccsoport magja eredetileg a testvérek voltak: Gītāvalī, Natesvarī és Nṛsiṁha-jīvanī, akik gyermekkoruk óta táncolnak, mi több, táncdarabjaikhoz gyakran maguk készítik fellépőruháikat, a különleges sminket és kellékeiket. Eredetileg Gītāvalī kezdett el bharatanátjamot tanulni, majd kezdte el tanítani kisebb testvéreit. Később húga, Natesvarī Indiában is táncművészeti tanulmányokat folytatott a Venunad Kalakendra Iskolában, az odisszi útjára lépve. Később, Magyarországon dr. Neethu E. Mohantól volt szerencséjük órákat venni. A táncos testvérekhez később budapesti és krisna-völgyi fiatalok is csatlakoztak. A klasszikus táncstílusok mellett modern táncokkal és pl. a Rāmāyaṇa színdarabbal varázsolják el vendégeiket. A csoport tagjai mind a Kṛṣṇa-tudatú hívők Közösségének aktív tagjai, akik fiatal koruk óta gyakorolják a lelki életet és Śrīla Indradyumna Swami és Śrīla Śivarāma Swami tanítványai.

Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre is organizing a cultural programme at its Auditorium on the occasion of Diwali Celebrations, during which Ramayana dance drama will be presented by Gauravani Dance Group, followed by Henna painting, Saree draping and Indian food stall. We cordially invite you and your family members to the programme. 

About the Gauravani Dance Group:

The core performers of the Gauravani Dance Group are originally three sisters, Gītāvalī, Natesvarī and Nṛsiṁha-jīvanī, who have been dancing since childhood, and often make their own performing costumes, special make-up and props for their dance pieces. Originally, Gītāvalī started learning bharatanātyam and then began teaching her younger sisters. Later, her sister Natesvarī also studied dance in India at the Venunad Kalakendra School, choosing the Odissi style. Later, in Hungary, they had the privilege of taking lessons from Dr. Neethu E. Mohan. The dancing sisters were later joined by young people from Budapest and Krishna Valley. In addition to classical dance styles, they enchant their guests with modern dances and plays such as Rāmāyaṇa. The members of the group are all active members of the Kṛṣṇa conscious devotee community, and have been practicing spiritual life since their youth and are disciples of Śrīla Indradyumna Svāmī and Śrīla Śivarāma Svāmī.
