The Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre (ASCC) in Budapest launched a new program series in October 2024 titled India Knowledge Series. As part of this series, lectures, discussions, and talks are organized at the Cultural Centre.
The program covers a wide range of topics, including: Indology, the Hindi and Sanskrit languages, yoga, Ayurveda, the Vedas and Upanishads, Indian culture and traditions, India’s heritage, Indian cuisine, clothing, film-related topics, Indian classical and folk dance and music, literature, Indian art and architecture, Indian spiritual leaders, and many other India-related subjects. These topics are explored through conversations with invited speakers.

The next lecture in the series will take place on Wednesday, 27 April 2026, at 6:00 PM, at the Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre, Embassy of India (1025 Budapest, Búzavirág u. 14.).
