“A Csend” című film igaz történeten alapul; egy kislányról szól, Chinniről, aki édesapjával Konkanban él. Élete nagyszerűen telik - egészen a sorsdöntő napig, amikor szerette olyanná válik, akit aztán egész életében megvet. A film erőteljes és szívhez szóló dokumentum arról a fajta kizsákmányolásról, amelynek a nők ki vannak téve és azokat a traumákat és következményeket mutatja be, amelyek segítenek egészséges önértékelésük visszanyerésében.

The Silence is based on a true story and revolves around a little girl Chinni, who stays with her father in Konkan. Life is going great until one fateful day when her loved one turns into the one she despises for the rest of her life. The film is a powerful and heartfelt document of the kind of exploitation that women are subjected to and the trauma and aftermath they undergo in order to regain a healthy sense of self.
