Ábrahám Judit sokoldalú művész. Hazai, indiai és külföldi szakmai körökben egyaránt elismert. A magyar népzene, néptánccal párhuzamosan tizennyolc éve indiai zenével, tánccal is foglalkozik. Judit rendszeresen jár Indiába tanulni, gyűjteni. Magyarországon, illetve nyugat-európai országokban előadásokat, workshopokat tart. Budapesten és Párizsban együttest vezet Mátki tánccsoport néven.
Judit a 2009-2010-es évben először ment tanulmányútra Indiába. Kezdetben a dél-indiai Madraszba (Chennai), ahol klasszikus táncot, és éneket tanult, majd zenész barátai meghívására Rádzsaszthánba (Észak-Indiába) utazott, ahol néprajzos gyűjtő tevékenységet folytatott. Később a langa zenészközösség ösztönzésére a rádzsasztháni színpadi néptánc stílussal kezdett el foglalkozni. Innentől kezdve művészi tevékenysége összefonódik a rádzsasztháni langa zenészek karrierjével. Magyarországra gyakran hív rádzsasztháni zenei együtteseket.

Judit Ábrahám is a versatile artist. She is reknowned both in European and Indian professional circles. She is an expert in Hungarian music and dance as well as Indian music and dance.
In 2009 she travelled to India at the first time, where she learnt classical music and dance in Madras, and later on folk dance in Rajasthan. Here she found the opportunity to study the rural culture of a music community in the Thar desert of Langa & Kalbeliya caste. The experience in these communities resulted in many videos, sound and photographic materials.
Since 2009 she has travelled regularly to India, Rajasthan, collecting more folkloric documentation, developing in music and dance, performing as well with several folk artists.
Since 2010 she has been leading a Rajasthani folk dance course in Hungary and performs Rajasthani dance solo and with her dance group: Judit Abraham & Matki Dance Group and as a fusion as well with Hungarian gypsy bands (Judit Abraham & Gipsy Fusion Band, Romengo Band).
