2017. december 5-én rendhagyó programot tartunk az Amrita Sher-Gil Kulturális Központban. Ez a nap Amrita Sher-Gil halálának az évfordulója is; ez alkalomból Jász Attila József Attila-díjas költő, író, az új Forrás főszerkesztőjeérkezik hozzánk, aki írt egy verses regényt Amrita Sher-Gil képei és élete kapcsán, amiből egy részlet a Quasimodo Nemzetközi Költőversenyen különdíjat kapott. A szerző ebből a műből olvas fel az est folyamán. 

A mű hamarosan könyv formájában is megjelenik, ezért szeretnénk egy irodalmi est keretében bemutatni önöknek is, mindeközben megemlékezünk a vers ihletőjéről és Kulturális Központunk névadójáról, Amrita Sher-Gilről.

Program:

A verses regény bemutatása – Jász Attila beszélget a Kortárs Kiadó szerkesztőjével, Varga Beátával

Közreműködik: Lantos Zoltán (hegedű) és Pt Rajesh Gangani (tabla)

Az est során megtekinthetünk néhány diaképet Baktay Ervin hagyatékából, illetve fotómontázsokat Vivan Sundaramtól, Amrita húgának, Indira Sher-Gilnek fiától.

A program magyar nyelvű, angol nyelvű szinkrontolmácsolással.

Dear Friends of India!

On 5 December, 2017, you are most welcome to a literary program at the Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Center. 5 December is the death anniversary of Amrita Sher-Gil; on this occasion Mr Attila Jász, awarded poet and writer, Editor-in-Chief of új Forrás contemporary literary magazine will read excerpts from the poem about Amrita Sher-Gil. The poem won the special prize at the Quasimodo International Poetry Competition.

The poem is about to be published in the form of a book, so we would like to introduce it to you in frame of a literary evening, while commemorating Amrita, the painter, who inspired the work and after whom our cultural centre has been named.

Programme:

Presentation of the poem – Discussion of Attila Jász and the Editor of Kortárs Publishing House, Beata Varga
Featuring: Zoltán Lantos (violin) and Pt Rajesh Gangani (Tabla)

During the evening, we can see some photo slides of Ervin Baktay’s heritage and photomontages from Vivan Sundaram, the son of Indira Sher-Gil (Amrita’s sister).

The program is in Hungarian language, with simultaneous interpretation in English.
