Dr. Mukesh Kumar Srivastava
Dr. Mukesh Kumar Srivastava assumed charge as Director, Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre (ASCC), Budapest, Hungary on 21 July 2023. Prior to this, he was Senior Consultant as well as the Private Secretary to the President at Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi. He has also served at the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.
Dr. Srivastava received his M.Phil and PhD from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He received his Master’s Degree in Political Science with specialisation in International Relations. His expertise includes international relations, soft power and cultural diplomacy, democracy and civil society engagement, among others. He has written extensively on these topics in leading newspapers and International Journals. Dr. Srivastava has participated and presented papers in Seminars and Conferences at National and International level.
Dr. Srivastava hails from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He is married to Dr. Arundhati Sharma who teaches at the Department of Political Science, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, India.
