A középkori Indiában játszódó történelmi eposz második része ott folytatódik, ahol a történet megszakadt: Sivudu már ráébredt, ki is valójában, és hogy milyen felelősséggel ruházták fel. Sivudu célja, hogy végre fényt derítsen a mindenkit égető kérdésre: miért ölte meg Kattappa Báhubalit?
A film rekordbevételei és számos nemzetközi elismerés mellett 8 díjat kapott a Dél-Indiai Filmfare gálán, melyet a legrangosabb indiai filmes elismerésként tartanak számon.
Baahubali – the beginning & Baahubali 2 – the conclusion are epic Indian films that have received several accolades and won a number of awards across the world. The films have been by far the highest grocers in the history of Indian Cinema. The films circle around a rebellious warrior intending to rescue the former queen of the kingdom from the shackles of a tyrant ruler and the legendary saga of his father who was the erstwhile ruler himself. . The films portray human virtues of loyalty, love, betrayal, deceit, hatred, bravery, monarchical conflict, benevolence, aristocratic legacy on a larger than life canvas adequately supported by colorful sequences of songs and dances.
