Biswajeet Bora filmje, a Boomba Ride egy alsó tagozatos iskoláról szól, ahol Boomba az egyetlen tanuló, és az oktatók fő célja, hogy nyitva tudják tartani az iskolát..A maró humorú szatíra az indiai vidéki oktatási rendszer visszásságait mutatja be a nyolc éves kisfiú történetén keresztül.

A film igaz történetet dolgoz fel. Asszám államban, a Brahmaputra folyó partján forgatták, amatőr szereplőgárdával.

Biswajeet Bora's film Boomba Ride is about a lower elementary school where Boomba is the only pupil and the teachers' major issue is to keep the school open.. The bitingly humorous satire shows the inadequacies of the Indian rural education system through the story of an eight-year-old boy.

Inspired by a true story, the film was shot on the banks of the Brahmaputra River in the state of Assam, with a mostly nonprofessional cast.
