EASING OF TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS TO INDIA

India and Hungary have agreed to mutually recognise the Covid Immunity/Vaccination certificates issued by the two countries.  Entry, under the provisions of this agreement, would be granted to holders of such certificates w.e.f 25th October 2021.  Fully vaccinated persons travelling from Hungary and holding the immunity certificate issued by the Government of Hungary would be allowed free entry without the need for either any tests on arrival or post-arrival quarantines.

However, all travellers should complete the following before departure:

a.Submit self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal
(www.newdelhiairport.in) before the scheduled travel.

b.Upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report. This test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to undertaking the journey.

c.Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise.

d.     Upload copy of fully vaccinated certificate on Air Suvidha portal.

In respect of non-vaccinated or partially vaccinated passengers, apart from negative RT-PCR report to be uploaded on the Air Suvidha portal, the travellers need to undertake a Covid-19 test post arrival and home quarantine for seven days and re-rest on the 8th day after arrival in India.  Quarantine may end only if the report is negative.
