Integartion of Embassy of India, Budapest, with Global Passport Seva Project (GPSP)
Posted on: October 07, 2020 | Back | PrintEmbassy of India, Hungary is now integrated with the Global Passport Seva Project (GPSP) of the Ministry of External Affairs. Applications for passport, PCC, Emergency Certificate, Surrender of Passport, Renunciation and Miscellaneous passport services are required now to be submitted online. Applicants should register and fill in their applications at either of the following URLs : https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html or https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/
After opening the URL, applicant should first choose the region and country from where he wishes to submit the application and complete the registration. Once registration is completed, applicant may choose the relevant service, complete the application form and submit.
Applicant should then schedule an appointment at https://www.eoibudapest.gov.in/page/appointment-for-visa-consular-passport/ and visit the Embassy for completion of the submission of the process. Please note down the Application Registration Number (ARN).
Before visiting the Embassy to complete the submission, please send clear and legible self-attested scans of the following documents by e-mail to cons.budapest@mea.gov.in, mentioning the name and ARN in the subject. Each document to be scanned separately and attached. Please send separate e-mails for each ARN:
(i) Address proof (both Indian and abroad)
(ii) Proof of Date of Birth
(iii) Identity Proof
(iv) Proof of Education for ECNR passport
(v) Copy of Current passport (first and last pages)
(vi) Residence Permit
Applicant should bring all the supporting documents, old passport, passport size photograph as per requirement and fees prescribed for the service.
