Reconstruction of Kedarnath Area Link for Donations/Contributions
Posted on: August 20, 2018 | Back | PrintKedarnath area was struck by a major calamity in 2013 which caused large scale destruction of property and infrastructure in parts of Uttarakhand, including Shrine of Kedarnath and massive loss of human life.
Hon’ble Prime Minister, during his visit to Kedarnath in October last year, directed the Government of Uttarakhand to take steps for reconstruction of Kedarnath area and to develop Kedarnath on the principle of Smart Township. The State Government of Uttarakhand have endeavoured to restore the Shrine and the surrounding area to its pristine glory, while providing devotees with all modern amenities and services. To meet this goal, the State Government has constituted ’Shri Kedarnath Charitable Trust’ to seek funds for Shri Kedarnath Dham reconstruction works.
Contributions/donations to this noble cause may be made for the Resconstruction Project of Kedarnath Dham through the Kedarnath Charitable Trust. The detailed information about the trust, as well as online donation facility is available at the following link
