A Tapi-projektet a világ különböző részein élő zenészek, utazók és filmesek alkotják. Zenei iránya inkább a hangokra és a hangzásra koncentrál, miközben megtartja a dallamot. Egy kortárs népzene.
Együttműködnek: Vinayak Pol (Dob), Tuheen Chakravorty (Tabla-Indiai-óceán), Dhruv Bedi (Sitar), Julient Morretto (Violin-Franciaország), Osmanbhai néptáncosok Kutchból.

We heartily invite all lovers of music to a performance of Indian contemporary folk music artists – TAPI Project – on 12 September, 2017 at 18.00 in the Auditorium of Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre.

A contemporary folk band! The Tapi Project is Yogi, and people he worked with during different phases of his musical explorations, all coming together forming one homogeneous act. Yogi is a traveler, musician and filmmaker. Swati is the voice of the album and Anand Joseph Mani is the harmonic backbone.
The Tapi Project’s musical direction is about focusing more on the tones and soundscapes while retaining melody. Collaborating musicians from different parts of world are Vinayak Pol(Drums) Tuheen Chakravorty(Tabla- Indian Ocean), Dhruv Bedi(Sitar), Julient Morretto (Violin-France), Folk Musicians Osmanbhai on surando from Kutch.
