I bike Budapest! - with Indian Embassy

Dear Friends of India,

JOIN I BIKE BUDAPEST CYCLING EVENT WITH EMBASSY OF INDIA, BUDAPEST~ celebrating Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary

I bike Budapest is meant to be a celebration for all those who ride a bike in this city, and also a demonstration for a bicycle-friendly, liveable city for all. Come and enjoy the company of thousands of others cyclists, dress up in a costume, bring your family, play an instrument, sing along, dance, make friends, but first and foremost: smile and have fun.

Embassy of India is joining this lovely event and also celebrates 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Caps and T-shirts with Gandhi ji's pictures and wrists bands would be distributed to all. There would also be a spectacular kathak performance by Sonali Roy, Chirayu Bhole & their group near Chain Bridge, on Pest Side, at the grass area between Hungarian Science Academy & Hotel Intercontinental.

Although it would be nice if the bikers complete the full route, but it is also possible for people to join/quit at any of the points given below. At the end of the cycle route, Ambassador Mr. Kumar Tuhin would also felicitate those from Indian community who have completed the full round.

Route: Margaret Island – Árpád bridge – Árpád fejedelem útja – Margit bridge – Pesti alsó rakpart – Közraktár utca – Petőfi bridge – Műegyetem rakpart – Budai alsó rakpart – Attila út – Alagút – Chainbridge – Andrássy út – City Park (Városliget)
