Indiai klasszikus zene és tánc találkozása a magyar és indiai néptáncokkal

India az "egység a sokféleségben" szimbóluma; ennek jegyében különleges előadásra invitálunk minden India-barátot: az este folyamán indiai klasszikus zene, indiai klasszikus tánc, indiai néptánc és magyarországi eredetű cigány néptánc előadásokat hallhatunk-láthatunk gyönyörű folyammá egybeszőve. Ebben az évben ünnepeljük Mahatma Gandhi születésének 150. évfordulóját is. Ehhez kapcsolódóan az Amrita Sher-Gil Kulturális Központ együttműködve a pécsi Gandhi Gimnáziummal indiai klasszikus tánc és magyarországi cigány tánc fúziót is színpadra visz, mindemellett láthatunk egy táncbetétet a Gandhi Gimnázium és a sajókazai Dr. ámbédkar Iskola diákjainak szereplésével.

18.00-18.50: A program indiai klasszikus zenével kezdődik, Londonból érkezik hozzánk Prabhat Rao és Pulkit Sharma, az indiai klasszikus zene fiatal generációjának képviselői. Prabhat Rao, a Patiala Gharana követője, a fiatalabb generáció egyik vezető indiai klasszikus énekese. Londonban él, szigorú képzést kapott Guru Chandrima Misra (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan) irányítása alatt. Korai éveit nagymamájával töltötte, aki híres karnatikus zenész volt. Prabhat Rao odaadó tanár és előadóművész; tablán kíséri Pulkit Sharma.
Rövid szünet után 19.00 órakor a táncelőadások következnek.

Indian Classical Music & Dance meet Hungarian & Indian Folk Dances

India stands for ‘Unity in Diversity’; with this feeling, we are presenting rare and unconventional performances of Indian Classical Music & Dances in unison with the Folk Dances of Indian & Hungarian origin, weaved together to showcase the beautiful bond they create. This year also marks the 150th birth year Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Indian Nation. In this regards, the Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre collaborates with the Gandhi School, Pecs & presents Indian Classical Dance in fusion with Gypsy Dance.
Hindustani Classical Vocal Music – Presented by Mr.Prabhat Rao & Mr.Pulkit Sharma
Indian artists from UK present pure form of Indian Classical Vocal music.
Devi – Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi & Kuchipudi - Presented by Saumya Shukla, Ms Panni Somi, Ms. Virag Turi & Ms. Gabriella Toth
Through the medium of four Indian Classical Dance forms presented together, the various characters of a woman will be depicted, which are predominant in the Ancient Indian Philosophy

Bharatnatyam & Folk Dances - By Panni Somi & Sivasakti Kalananda Dance Troupe
Indian Folk Dances presented in a unique manner with elements of Bharatnatyam.

The Classical Hindu Temple Dance from the state of Andhra Pradesh (South-East India)
Kathak & Hungarian Gypsy Dance –By Saumya Shukla & Students of Gandhi School Pecs & Ambedkar School Sajókaza
These two dances belong to two countries separated with vast lands, oceans and seas. However, the similarities they can both present make this performance a unique feature.
