Advisory for e-tourist visa applicants

In recent months increasing number of complaints relating to frauds perpetrated by fake visa websites operating on the internet, claiming to provide e-Tourist Visa services to visa applicants desiring to travel to India have been reported. In order to mislead applicants, some of these websites have created images and home page templates copying the GoI websites for e-Tourist Visa applicants. A few examples of these fake websites are:

  1. e-touristvisaindia.com
  2. indianvisaonline.org.in
  3. e-visaindia.com

All applicants are advised to note that the only website to apply for e-tourist visa is indianvisaonline.gov.in and no other website is authorized to provide e-tourist visa services on behalf of Government of India.
