Trade Fair: First virtual Festival of Handloom Oct 17-Nov 15 2020
Posted on: October 05, 2020 | Back | PrintThe first virtual exhibition under the worldtradeexpo.org platform titled - ' Festival of Handloom' showcasing Khadi and Handloom. Organized by the World Trade Center, Mumbai (worldtradeexpo.org) the event is scheduled to go live from October 17 – November 15, 2020 as it coincides with 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi. This virtual exhibition also proposes to identify buyers from across the world.
This virtual exhibition is provides an excellent opportunity for artists, weavers, micro-entrepreneurs including women SHGs, clusters and village industries to showcase khadi and handloom products such as sarees, fabric material, shawls, stoles, dress material, mats, rugs, carpets along with home furnishing and other accessories from several states in India and overseas. More than 100 exhibitors are expected to showcase their products. They will be able to showcase, market and sell their products. Furthermore, exhibitors can also participate in matchmaking B2B and B2C meetings, export oriented training programmes and workshops. Over 100 global buyers are expected to join this month-long festival.
